John: What I like about the Talkpod that it has its own software and supported with the latest version of chirp that means I can program it with my windows laptop.The USB C charger plus 110 volt base station charger so I can charge it either from my laptop or directly through a plug.The Screen is really clear and colored display.I can listen to 2 frequencies at the same time.The battery lasts really long time.Sound and mic quality fantastic.Can listen to air trafficking control stations, and AM air band receiving.Regarding the price this is a good quality product.This item is a level up from The Baofeng Radios, If you want something more professional you'll have to increase your budget, other than that its a good value product for the price you're paying.Overall I give it a 5 star
