Overall this is a decent radio. I use for gmrs. It seems to receive better then my uv5r. It also transmits well. My only issue is the squelch seems too high. I had to turn mine down to 2 or 1 just to get the RSSI to register. They need to open that up. Seems to be the opposite issue of the uv5r. I really like the screen. The ptt button does seem too easy to push or it just seems like I accidently hit it too much and accidentally key up. I would definitely buy another one.
