Good little radio, I wanted something different that the Boafeng ( I own 4). The radio is easy to program with Chirp, and easier that the Boafeng manually. Sound quality of what I though it would be, not bad. It does pick air band, but needless to say changing the antenna would help with that. It feels well made. I have not talked on it yet, but i can hit most repeaters around me
