Jimmy: Talkpod A36plus MAX is a nice compact unit, that also includes a clip that you can mount. These qualities make it fairly convenient for portability. It feels well made. The accessories are not preinstalled, but you can easily piece everything together. The display is easy to read. Buttons are all easy to reach. The keypad buttons do squeak a bit, which doesn't hinder any functionality but is potentially slightly annoying. The radio signal is very clear when in a good position for a clear signal. Volume levels are adjustable and were quite clear & audible. Quite a decent amount of features and functionality packed into this kit at this point. The biggest downside, has been the instructions. They are way too tiny. And the little pamphlet is not at all catering to beginners. It doesn't explain much, just provides information that might not make sense to somebody who's never operated one before. Personally, I did my research online to map out the functionality of the unit, as the included instructions were ridiculously small, and a bit inadequate.
The unit itself seems well made though, functions well, and is conveniently compact. So beyond the frustration with the instructions, everything else worked out.
