I just want to mention that I'm not big into radios and that I'm just a basic user, however this radio works wonderfully for me.
I mainly use it on hunting, camping, fishing and road trips, so I'm rarely more than 5km from the people I am contacting, I have had no issues using this in the dense forest at a decent distance, roughly 5km I would guess.
The signal appeared strong and the audio transmission was nice and clear, I didn't run into any annoying static thankfully.
Battery life is really nice on this, I used it periodically throughout an entire weekend camping trip and never needed to charge the battery.
The charging cradle and USB cable are nice, I like that I can charge this on the go with just a power bank, it makes it a lot more versatile.
The extra antennas are a nice addition as well, I haven't needed to use anything but the longest one, but if I was inside something like a warehouse or a school the smaller antenna would be much easier.
Overall I would say that this is a fairly decently capable walkie talkie, although I haven't needed it's more hardcore functions, it has been serving me quite nicely and I would happily recommend it
