Comes well packaged and as advertised. However, on the product page, you'll find clear, concise easy to read Instructions. This unit is easy to operate if you're familiar with HAM radio's. This does a whole lot more than 2-way communications and I would advise you to know what you're looking for when ordering this unit. The double channel is great for multiple conversations or listening to airways or FM radio while communicating with others on another channel.
