This Talkpod A36Plus Max Handheld GMRS Radio is great to have if you're going camping, hiking with a group or off-roading.
The radio is really well made and feels quite substantial in your hand but is still very compact and easy to hold. It has a 1.4"" color display that's clear and easy to read, 999 total channels, dual channel monitoring, three selectable power levels up to 8W, built in NOAA Weather channels, FM Radio channels, Airband scanning and receiving. It comes with a large 3200mAh battery that can be recharged in the included desktop charging station or via USB-C cable which is very convenient when you're out hiking or on the trails.
It's fairly easy to use and several of the features like channel naming or programming of the secondary buttons and SOS button can be done directly from the radio while more advanced programming can be done via the included USB-A to K style programming cable.
This Talkpod A36Plus radio is a really good value for the money based on the features it has and is something that anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors in nature should have in their gear bag.
