Talkpod A36SE GMRS Handheld Radio - Good little radio

I have used many different GMRS radios over the years. I have a few things that I really look for that really makes a radio work better for my needs. This one is able to check most of those boxes, but not all. This is a fairly easy radio to use, but if you are looking for the most simple GMRS radio to use, this is not it.

Programming radios via computer is something I enjoy doing. The CHIRP software is by far the most user friendly programming software to use. This radio unfortunately isn't supported by CHIRP, and the software from Talkpod is rough. It gets the job done, but it isn't the most user friendly.

For an extra radio to loan to someone, this is perfect.
