Color display is nice and bright; audio is loud and clear. Menu items are easy to change with the radio keys or CHIRP and programming options in Menu are listed in the printed instructions. However, the user manual does not explain what any of the function keys on the keyboard do.

The two programmable side buttons are default configured for FM radio out of the box. Easy configuration to change one button to NOAA weather.
