Newport, Wales, UK – November 7, 2025
Talkpod is honored to announce a meaningful collaboration with the Uskside Amateur Radio Club (UARC) and a local charity organization to promote youth engagement in amateur radio. As part of this initiative, a selection of high-performance radios from Talkpod's Youth Amateur Program were donated to the charity, ensuring that several deserving young individuals will be able to embark on their exciting journey into the world of radio communication.
The A36plus MAX: A Key to Exploration
A few lucky young beneficiaries received the Talkpod A36plus MAX Amateur Radio. This robust device, known for its powerful features, reliable performance, and user-friendly interface, is the ideal tool for amateur radio beginners. Our hope is that these radios will serve as more than just communication devices; they are bridges connecting these young minds to technology, electronics, and a global community.
UARC: A Lighthouse for Community Radio
The Uskside Amateur Radio Club (MW1USK), based in the High Cross Community Hall in Rogerstone, was the perfect partner for this charitable endeavor. UARC is a highly active organization dedicated to promoting the hobby, providing free training for amateur radio exams, and engaging deeply with the community.
Just this past October, UARC successfully leveraged the annual JOTA (Jamboree on the Air) event, guiding approximately 30 Scouts to make contacts with stations across Europe. This recent success highlights their strong commitment to youth education and practical radio experience.
Through UARC’s capable mentorship and strong community presence, we are confident that the donated A36plus MAX radios will be well utilized, helping a new generation of amateur radio enthusiasts learn and practice under the guidance of experienced operators.
Talkpod's Commitment: Investing in the Future
Talkpod firmly believes that supporting the amateur radio community, especially its youngest members, is an investment in the future of communication technology. This partnership with UARC and the local charity perfectly exemplifies our mission to combine high-quality products from our Youth Amateur Program with corporate social responsibility.
We wish these fortunate young recipients endless fun, invaluable technical skills, and many happy discoveries on the airwaves!
