Talkpod at Overland Expo East 2026

October 23–25, we joined Overland Expo East 2026 at Oak Ridge Estate in Arrington, Virginia — the premier gathering for East Coast overland enthusiasts. Thousands of off-road lovers traveled here in their rigs: camper vans, pickup trucks, Jeeps, rooftop-tent vehicles and overland trailers, setting up camp right on the grounds for the whole weekend, immersed in Blue Ridge mountain outdoor culture.

We welcomed hundreds of passionate overlanders and outdoor adventurers to our booth to explore the Talkpod Outdoor radio lineup. Our A36SE GMRS handheld radio drew huge interest throughout the show, and all demo and stock units we brought sold out completely. The East Coast overland community loved its clean, purpose-built design, and shared tons of honest, valuable feedback to help us refine our products further.

Beyond standalone handheld radios, we showcased our full vehicle communication ecosystem built for off-road rigs and camper vans: magnetic mount antennas, bracket mount antennas, coax cables for extended trail range, vehicle chargers and USB-C charging solutions to keep your comms powered deep in the backcountry.

Our compact F40 FRS radio also won big with family campers and casual outdoor users. Its high-visibility neon green finish, integrated carabiner design and simple, license-free FRS operation make it an ultra-handy all-around companion for hiking, camping and day trips.

This show reminded us how much overlanding is built on community. Every conversation, every trail story and every suggestion we collected is gold for Talkpod. We’re already taking these insights back to our design team to build better, trail-tested communication gear for backcountry crews.
