Talkpod Supports Students and Families at China's Gaokao Examinations

Quanzhou, Fujian, China – June 10, 2025

Talkpod, in partnership with the Quanzhou Chamber of E-Commerce, proudly participated in a volunteer service initiative supporting students and their families during China's pivotal Gaokao (National College Entrance Examination) from June 7-9. This marks the second year Talkpod has engaged in this crucial community effort, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to social responsibility and making a tangible difference in our local community.

The Gaokao is a high-stakes, two-day examination that is considered the most important academic event for millions of Chinese high school students. It determines their eligibility for university admission and can profoundly shape their future. The immense pressure on both students and their families during this period is palpable, making supportive gestures all the more meaningful.

Our dedicated team of volunteers was stationed outside Quanzhou Experimental Middle School, a key examination site. We were on hand to provide essential assistance, offering a range of services designed to ease the stress of exam days. This included distributing complimentary water and food to keep spirits and energy levels up, and ensuring ready access to necessary medical assistance for any unexpected needs.

Talkpod believes in contributing positively to the communities where we operate. Participating in initiatives like the Gaokao volunteer service allows us to directly support young individuals during a critical phase of their lives and extend a helping hand to their supportive families. We are proud to stand alongside the Quanzhou Chamber of E-Commerce in this valuable endeavor, reinforcing our dedication to societal well-being.
