Talkpod Supports Young HAM Enthusiasts at Tidelands Texas City Hamfest 2024

Talkpod is proud to sponsor the Tidelands Texas City Hamfest 2024 through the Talkpod Youth Program. This initiative aims to inspire and support young amateur radio enthusiasts, encouraging them to join the global HAM community.

Event Highlights: The Tidelands Texas City Hamfest 2024, hosted by the Tidelands Amateur Radio Society, promises an exciting day for amateur radio enthusiasts. The event will feature hourly prize drawings, including a grand prize, and numerous swap and vendor tables, providing opportunities to buy, sell, and trade amateur radio gear. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of food vendors on-site.

Educational forums and exhibits related to amateur radio will be available, along with fun activities such as the Left Foot CW Contest and a Hidden Transmitter Hunt. Additionally, there will be an Amateur Exam Session courtesy of the Clear Lake Amateur Radio Club and a Houston Vintage Radio Association Auction, which will have a small admission fee.
