The spirit of amateur radio was alive and buzzing at the Cuyahoga Falls ARC Hamfest on April 5th in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and Talkpod's Youth Amateur Program was thrilled to be a part of it!
We extend our sincere gratitude to the organizers of the Cuyahoga Falls ARC for their incredible support in welcoming our program. It was a fantastic event, filled with enthusiastic hams and a palpable excitement for the hobby.
One of the highlights of the Hamfest was the grand giveaway featuring Talkpod's A36plus MAX amateur radio! We were delighted to donate these high-performance handhelds as major door prizes, and it brought us immense joy to see the smiles on the faces of ten lucky new HAM enthusiasts as they received their very own A36plus MAX.
Our hope is that these feature-rich radios will serve as the perfect introduction to the fascinating world of amateur radio for these newcomers. We believe the A36plus MAX, with its versatility and user-friendly design, is an excellent tool to ignite their passion for wireless communication and experimentation.
The Cuyahoga Falls ARC Hamfest marks another successful stop for Talkpod's Youth Amateur Program, which has now proudly sponsored over 50 Hamfests across the United States. Our commitment remains steadfast: to encourage and empower young individuals to get involved in the amateur radio movement. We firmly believe that by fostering this next generation of radio enthusiasts, we can ensure that the airwaves remain vibrant and that the spirit of amateur radio stays forever young.
We were inspired by the energy and enthusiasm at Cuyahoga Falls and look forward to continuing our journey of supporting youth engagement in ham radio at future events. Stay tuned for more updates from the Talkpod Youth Amateur Program!
