2024 China International Emergency Management Exhibition Kicks Off in Beijing

The 2024 China International Emergency Management Exhibition opened at the National Convention Center in Beijing. This event, a significant initiative under the "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Mechanism for Disaster Prevention and Emergency Management, showcased the latest technologies, equipment, and applications in fields such as emergency management informationization, firefighting rescue, disaster prevention and mitigation, safety production, and accident rescue. The exhibition was themed "Science and Technology for Safety, Intelligent Emergency Response."

Wang Xiangxi, Party Secretary and Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Management, visited the exhibition. Xu Jia'ai, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Management, and Mu Peng, Deputy Mayor of Beijing, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Zhou Tian, Huang Jinsheng, Wang Kun, and other leaders of the Ministry of Emergency Management also visited the exhibition.

A Showcase of Innovation
Organized by the International Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management, the exhibition aimed to promote the application and promotion of advanced technologies and equipment, strengthen the guiding role of technological innovation, improve the modernization level of emergency management, serve the development and growth of the "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Mechanism for Disaster Prevention and Emergency Management, and promote the supply and demand matching of emergency management science and technology equipment and international exchange and cooperation, thereby contributing to the building of international emergency management capabilities.

The three-day exhibition, spanning approximately 22,000 square meters, attracted over 150 domestic and foreign companies. It showcased cutting-edge technologies and applications, including intelligent emergency communication command equipment, intelligent unmanned rescue equipment, smart mine risk prevention equipment, smart chemical park risk prevention equipment, and aviation emergency rescue equipment. Through physical exhibits, sandboxes, pictures, videos, and other means, the exhibition displayed the latest achievements in emergency management technological innovation and equipment development.
