APCO 2024 Kicks Off in Orlando

APCO 2024, APCO International’s Annual Conference & Expo, officially opened on August 4 in Orlando, Florida. This premier event for public safety communications officials, ranging from frontline telecommunicators to comm center managers, as well as vendors of public safety communications equipment and services, offers four days of educational sessions, committee meetings, and special events, accompanied by two full days of exhibits.

Running from August 4-7, APCO 2024 provides a comprehensive experience for its attendees. The Exhibit Hall will be open on August 5-6, and various nearby hotels are offering special rates for those attending the conference.

The conference attracts a diverse audience, including representatives from emergency communications centers, law enforcement, fire services, emergency medical services, government agencies, service providers, and commercial vendors.

There are numerous reasons to attend APCO 2024:

• Education: Attendees can earn up to 20 CEUs from 10 professional development tracks, featuring more than 120 individual sessions that focus on frontline telecommunicators, leadership development, comm center management, cutting-edge issues, and technology.
