The conference call for papers has been issued for next year’s BAPCO Annual Event.
Describing the show, organisers said: "The BAPCO Conference & Exhibition is the key event for UK public safety communications technology professionals. It offers two days of networking and cutting-edge best practice learning, of which the conference is an integral part.
"Last year’s conference featured a variety of presentations from industry thought leaders, including both emergency services users and technology developers/manufacturers. Topics included the ongoing move to mission critical broadband, artificial intelligence, and many more."
BAPCO 2025 takes place March 5th-6th next year at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Discussing her expectations for next year, BAPCO Annual Event conference producer, Dr Jane Watson, said: “With 95-plus world-renowned expert speakers across two days and three topic streams, the British APCO Conference & Exhibition is a beacon in the blue light calendar. It connects and engages with the whole UK public safety community.”
Watson continued: “The BAPCO conference is designed to deliver high quality thought leadership via the main presentations, as well as informal discussions in ‘The Huddle,’ which is a well-received a new feature from 2024, back for 2025. We anticipate a wide range of speakers from both at home and abroad, promoting global working and cooperation.
“I would ask those with ideas for presentation topics to use the application form on the BAPCO 2025 website or contact me directly. This is your chance to demonstrate your expertise while influencing the direction of not only the UK sector, but also the global public safety communications industry.”
