A Historic Moment: Inaugural Talkpod LVA Net Connects Radio Enthusiasts Worldwide

On November 19th, 2024, history was made as the inaugural LVA Net took place on the Talkpod LVA platform. This groundbreaking event brought together radio enthusiasts from around the globe, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of amateur radio.

A Community United
The net was a resounding success, thanks to the efforts of Net Control Ray (N9KGC) and the active participation of 26 individuals. The diverse range of devices used, including Talkpod N58plus smart radios and other Android Devices , highlighted the platform's versatility and inclusivity.

A Platform for the Future
Despite some minor technical challenges, the overall performance of the LVA platform was impressive. The net provided a seamless and enjoyable experience for most participants. However, intermittent audio dropouts experienced by some users, particularly those using the W2 device, will be addressed by Talkpod developers.
