Planting the Seeds of Radio: Talkpod Youth Amateur Program Ignites Inspiration at Cuyahoga Falls ARC Hamfest 2026

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the Talkpod Youth Amateur Program proudly participated in the Cuyahoga Falls ARC Hamfest (Electronic and Computer Show), working to ensure that "radio's seeds" are planted in the minds of young enthusiasts.

A Record-Breaking Turnout for Young Hams

This year’s event was marked by an extraordinary surge in youth participation. Reports from the floor indicated this was one of the most active Hamfests for young people yet, with nearly 10 teenage students engaging in the festivities.

Working alongside Anthony Luscre (K8ZT), ASM for Educational Outreach Ohio, Talkpod took center stage to support these young makers and future engineers.
