✅ This kit comes with everything needed to begin, and then adds more features an options like the charging station and the 3 antennas.
✅ The airband antenna is folded under the white plastic. It unfolded vigorously as soon as I removed the radio, and there it was in all its splendor. My first airband antenna!

👉 I strongly encourage anyone to go the manufacturer's site to get the PDF user guides. It allowed me to begin using it with more confidence.
👉 I found that the dual active channel can make communication quite difficult as I get confused if the PTT will call on A or B.
🌐 I cannot wait until the next HAM gathering in our suburb. I will be able to make acquaintances and will certainly get to understand how to use this Talkpod much better since it is all the hype currently.
👉 One weird thing is the charging base LED indicator. Unless you pay very close attention, you will not see the slight change of color (fluo green to yellowish fluo green) when charging.
