Talkpod Connects with W2SZ: A Visit to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Amateur Radio Club

Talkpod's Roger and Jack recently had the distinct pleasure of visiting W2SZ, the esteemed amateur radio club of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), established in 1911. During their visit on May 21st, even though it was vacation season, they were warmly hosted by Hisen Zhang (KD2TAI), a key member of the club.

Hisen provided a comprehensive and fascinating tour, detailing the club's rich history from its founding to its recent developments. Talkpod's team was particularly impressed by the club's radio operations room and the sophisticated equipment on display. They also gained valuable insights into W2SZ's recent amateur radio activities and their successful outcomes. The visit concluded with a pleasant tour of the RPI campus itself.
