Nan'an, China – September 1, 2025
Talkpod was honored to be invited to participate in a crucial feasibility study for the establishment of a new Special Customs Supervision Zone in Nan'an. This strategic initiative, commissioned by the Nan'an government and conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), aims to accelerate the outward-looking development of the city's pillar industries, including the thriving walkie-talkie sector.
As a leading enterprise in what is known as the "Walkie-Talkie Capital of China," we recognize the immense potential of this project. A Special Customs Supervision Zone would provide new support for industrial upgrading and strengthening our global competitiveness. During our interview with the PwC team, we provided a detailed overview of our operations and, most importantly, offered our perspective on how such a zone could best serve our international clients.
Our feedback centered on three key areas:
Expedited Customs Procedures: We emphasized the need for faster, more efficient customs clearance to reduce bottlenecks and speed up the export process.
Streamlined Services: We advocated for more open and convenient services that simplify the complexities of international trade for both us and our partners.
Enhanced Logistics: Our primary goal is always to get our products into our customers' hands as quickly as possible. We highlighted how this new zone could significantly reduce lead times for global deliveries, directly improving the end-user experience.
This initiative is a testament to Nan'an's proactive approach to supporting its key industries. At Talkpod, we believe that investing in a more efficient and streamlined trade environment is crucial for building a more robust and responsive global supply chain. We are optimistic that this study will pave the way for a new era of international trade for Nan'an, benefiting our company and the entire industry.
