Talkpod Empowers Young Scouts with Wireless Communication at Kewstoke Jamboree

Kewstoke, Somerset, UK – October 25, 2024

Talkpod is proud to have sponsored the Kewstoke Scouts Somerset Jamboree On The Air / Jamboree On The Internet event on October 19th. The event, held at the Weston Super Mare Radio Society at Kewstoke Village Hall, provided a unique opportunity for young scouts to experience the world of radio communication.

As Talkpod's generous sponsorship, the scouts were able to use Talkpod A36plus MAX walkie-talkies to connect with other participants and explore the possibilities of wireless technology. The young people were enthusiastic about using the radios and enjoyed learning about how they work.

The event also featured a special guest, Rex G4RAE, a 94-year-old ex-Scout District leader, who shared his experiences with the scouts and discussed the history of radio communication.
