LEBANON, TN – July 2026
The Talkpod Youth Amateur Program is thrilled to announce its official support and participation in the upcoming Greater Nashville & Middle Tennessee HamQuest, happening Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center.
Sponsored by the Wilson County Amateur Radio Club (W2WCR), this ARRL-sanctioned Hamfest serves as a premier summer gathering for amateur radio operators, makers, and technology enthusiasts across the region.
Igniting Passion in the Next Generation of Hams
At Talkpod, we believe the longevity of amateur radio relies entirely on welcoming and inspiring young minds. To spark that excitement, the Talkpod Youth Amateur Program has stepped up to officially sponsor the event's youth outreach initiatives, putting professional-grade, compliant hardware directly into the hands of the next generation.
As part of this event's grand prize and youth drawings, Talkpod has donated our highly acclaimed A36plus MAX handheld radios.
The Ultimate Entry Point: The A36plus MAX is engineered precisely to give new licensees and young hams a powerful, multi-band, and highly compliant tool to kickstart their journey into analog and digital bands with total confidence.
Planting the Seeds of STEM: We hope these units will serve as a gateway for students, electronic hobbyists, and young operators to discover the absolute joy of global over-the-air communication.
