China National Radio Monitoring Center Conducts Field Research in Fujian

On October 21, 2024, a team led by Zhao Zheng, Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Radio Monitoring Center of China, visited the Fujian Provincial Radio Monitoring Station for a field research. The team conducted an on-site visit to the Fujian Provincial Radio Monitoring Command and Control Center and equipment room. Xu Yongxi, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director-General of the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and officials from relevant departments and stations participated in the research.

During the exchange, Xu Yongxi expressed gratitude for the long-standing support and assistance provided by the Monitoring Center to Fujian's radio management work. He detailed the province's recent achievements in various aspects, including the building of a cadre and talent team for radio management, promoting the empowerment of economic and social development through spectrum, improving the management and supervision of frequency stations, and strengthening reform and innovation. Xu expressed the hope that the Monitoring Center would continue to provide guidance and support in areas such as the construction of Fujian's monitoring network, the management of new-type radio frequency stations, the construction of an integrated platform, the development of the radio industry, and the training of professional personnel.

Zhao Zheng fully affirmed Fujian's radio technology work and expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology to the Monitoring Center. He noted that Fujian's radio technology work has a clear understanding of the national radio management work, practical measures, and a strong sense of mission and dedication, which is very inspiring. Given Fujian's unique geographical advantages as a coastal province in the southeast, it is of even greater significance to join forces with all parties to jointly manage radio spectrum and maintain radio order in the province. The Monitoring Center will further strengthen cooperation with Fujian's radio management agencies in areas such as improving monitoring technical capabilities, ensuring radio safety for major events, researching international rules for maritime radio services and public protection and disaster relief applications, empowering the radio industry through spectrum, building an integrated network system, and mutual exchange of professional technical personnel. A long-term working mechanism will be established to work together towards the same goal and address common challenges, jointly promoting the high-quality development of the radio industry.
